We provide a limited warranty for your ELE-GO® Electric Scooter(s) against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the date of original retail purchase.

During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the ELE-GO® Electric Scooter(s), provided that the terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty are met, we will coordinate with you and judge whether to repair or replace any defective Components with new or factory rebuilt replacement items, without any cost to you. Once you receive your ELE-GO® Electric Scooter(s), you should refer to the User Manual accompanying it for all the necessary details of the Limited Warranty.

All replaced parts for which a refund is given shall become our property. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the ELE-GO® Electric Scooter(s) that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or other external causes, alterations, repair, or commercial use.

This Limited Warranty is valid for 12 months beginning on the date of purchase of the ELE-GO® Electric Scooter(s) and applies to the extent permitted by law and unless restricted or prohibited by law.

This Limited Warranty is void if product(s) is used for commercial purpose(s) or if the defects or damages are resulting from the following: exposure to moisture, incorrect storage, alterations, misuse, accident, neglect, abuse, improper installation, repairs (except as directed by us), damage caused by spills of food or liquid, dropping, or blown fuses, or other external causes.

Limited Warranty Service Request Instructions:

To repair and/or replace the Product or its Components under this Limited Warranty, you shall:

  1. Send an email to customerservice@ele-go.com with the following: a written description of the problem with images attached; a filled out, signed and scanned copy of the Limited Warranty form (in the user manual); and proof of purchase (purchase receipt or invoice).
  2. Our customer support team will review your request and coordinate with you to correctly identify the problem. Once identified, our team will ask you to either send the defected product/component, or have the new product/component sent to you for replacement. The average response time is 48 hours.
